Update on Haze Management in School
15 September 2026
Haze Management

Dear Parents/Guardians,
In view of the current haze conditions in Singapore, schools are monitoring the haze situation closely and will adjust school-based measures where necessary, taking reference from the latest Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) readings and 1-hour PM2.5 updates from the National Environment Agency (NEA).
The school has put in place the following safety measures:
(i) Ensuring that air purifiers are deployed.
(ii) Staff are ready to assist students who may be feeling unwell due to the haze or who are experiencing breathing difficulties.
(iii) Outdoor and the intensity of physical activities will be adjusted accordingly, and students will be given more frequent breaks.
If your child has pre-existing heart, lung, or respiratory conditions, we seek your cooperation to ensure that your child carries her medication to school daily. Students have also been reminded to alert their teachers promptly if they feel unwell, so that appropriate care and support can be provided.
Please continue to check Parents Gateway regularly for updates. You may also contact the General Office directly if you have any queries.
Thank you for your continued support as we work together to keep our girls safe and ensure that learning continues in a healthy environment.
For the latest information on the haze situation and health advisories, please refer to the NEA website.
