The ICT Department aims to develop our students to be Creative Thinkers, Lifelong Learners and Value-based Leaders through facilitating and supporting the teachers in the effective use of technology in Teaching & Learning and the administrative staff in administrative and operational processes.
We want to equip our teachers with the relevant ICT skills through Professional Development sessions, workshops (virtual and face-to-face) and mentoring sessions to allow them to create new learning possibilities afforded by digital technologies. We will also create opportunities for our teachers to share their learning within the school community as well as beyond school level.
Student Programmes
Our students go through training to acquire baseline ICT skills progressively from Primary 1 to Primary 6. The ICT skills are aligned to the MOE Baseline ICT Standards (New Media Literacies). They are also given exposure to coding and computational thinking skills.

Staff Development
With the introduction of SkillsFuture for Educators: e-Pedagogy in 2019, the experience of Full Home-Based Learning and staff conversation on Blended Learning in 2020, the school has identified using technology for teaching and learning as a key driver to achieve its desired student outcomes.
The areas of development will focus on designing lessons with appropriate digital technologies using SLS Pedagogical Scaffold, with considerations of the different learning experiences with key applications of technology and learning interactions.
The school will use different learning platforms to build staff capacity in e-pedagogy:
School wide Professional Development Sessions;
ICT sharing sessions conducted by staff;
Mentoring sessions; and
Courses conducted by AST or other organisations (online or face-to-face workshops).
