Mission

RGPS PE Curriculum aims to develop students' knowledge, skills and disposition in sports. We aim to nurture physically fit students with healthy habits who will value the enjoyment of maintaining a healthy life-style.

The aim of the physical education (PE) programme is to develop Physical, intellectual, social and emotional skills, 21st century competencies & core values like fair play, responsibility, sportsmanship and resilience through the RGPS Girl Matrix

Guiding Philosophy of PE Dept is to :

Inculcate love for Sports at a young age and instill sense of responsibility to look after self (healthy lifestyle)
Improve the fitness level of the pupils.

PE Programmes

Students at the lower primary will be exposed to fundamental movement training to build the foundation in their motor skills. From Primary 4 onwards, these skills will be further developed through the playing of sports and games or attending PE Programmes/ events. In doing so, students will learn about relationship between movements and game concepts and apply these concepts and principles into other situations.
